PREFACE


This rulebook is an evolution of Mountain Home Speedway Race to Empower Inc. to use for the
benefit of all racers.

These rules provide the guideline for racing events. The rule book may be amended from time to-time and special rules may be published and/or adjusted at any particular event with the participants receiving prior notification.

By participating in these events, all participants agree to comply with these rules and regulations.

The rules are not intended to express or imply the warranty of safety as a result of publication, or compliance with the rules and regulations as stated herein.

The rules are intended to offer a guideline for the conduct and officiating of an event.

The Track Promoter shall be empowered to permit any reasonable and/or appropriate amendment from any of the specifications and/or procedures herein, or impose any further restriction that in their opinion does not alter minimum acceptable requirements.

Any interpretation of, deviation from, these rules herein, are left to the discretion of the racing officials and their jurisdiction is final.

Any visible equipment changes and/or performance enhancing changes to previously approved outlaw kart and/or equipment must be approved in writing prior to introduction into competition by Event Staff.

Officials reserve the right to immediately determine the legality and use of any equipment that has not received prior written approval for introduction into competition.

It is ultimately the obligation of each participant to ensure their conduct and equipment complies with all the applicable rules. The rules are in no way a guarantee against injury and/or death to participants, spectators, officials and/or others.

The rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events.

These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and by participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules.

NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATIONS OF OR COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND/OR REGULATIONS.

They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator, or official. 2026 Kart Track Rule Book

1.0 General Conduct

1. All Participants agree to act in a professional manner as determined by Officials. The professional manner includes, but is not limited to verbal representation, written representation, any representation that may represent the speedway and/or its representatives, the sport of Outlaw kart racing, micros and motorsports in general and/or any affiliates.

2. Drivers, parents, and crew shall read and understand the racing rules. Parents shall make sure their children know and understand all rules and regulations.

3. All Drivers must arrive at said races in a timely manner so that they may participate in the entirety of the racing event.

4. No Drivers will be permitted to compete and/or participate while under the influence of any alcoholic beverages and/or illegal substances. If a member is found to be participating in such a manner an immediate suspension will result.

5. Absolutely no alcoholic beverages in pit area during races. Open container in your pit will subject owner, driver and kart to DQ and suspension. Anyone supplying alcohol to a minor will be permanently suspended.

6. Push vehicles: no one under 16 years of age may operate a push vehicle.

NO PASSENGERS ALLOWED ON PUSH VEHICLES.

2.0 General Competition

1. Each competitor is solely responsible for the effectiveness and proper installation, per the manufacturer’s specifications, of personal safety equipment and determining it to be adequate for competition during each event. Each competitor is expected to investigate and educate themselves for continuing improvement regarding their own personal safety equipment.

2. All drivers under the age of 18 must provide a notarized minor’s release to the scorekeepers.

3. In addition, when parent or guardian is not in attendance, drivers must provide a designated guardian form.

4. Fire extinguishers in every pit is mandatory, they must be up to code! Each pit needs one located at the site of their pit area easily accessible.

5. All lead weight must be painted white with kart number and be securely bolted to kart.

6. Any kart losing a weight during a race will be penalized.

7. Each car will be equipped with an approved restraint system; seat belt restraint systems shall be installed and used with manufacturer’s instructions.

8. Seat belt material should not be permitted to come in contact with any sharp or metal edge, including when the material passes through the seat.

9. Seat Belts must be in good condition not frayed, cut, punctured or in any way damaged recommended replacement 5 years following issued date.

2.1 Seat Belt/Restraint System

1. Protective Clothing 1.All Drivers are responsible for their safety; Fire Retardant suits are mandatory for participants belted in caged vehicles. Speedway/Flat karts shall have abrasion-proof safety equipment. Hoodies are not acceptable.

2. Fire safety accessories are also recommended not limited to gloves, socks, shoes, head socks, and underwear.

3. Seats 1.All seats must be mounted to the frame as required by the seat and chassis mfg.

2.4 Clothing

1.All drivers will be required to wear a full-face helmet with a minimum Snell safety rating of SA 2015

2. Neck Braces are MANDATORY.

3. Head and Neck restraints are strongly recommended. The head and neck restraint system must be mounted and connected to the helmet per the helmet manufacturer and head and neck manufacturer instructions. These are acceptable to replace a neck brace.

4. Arm restraints are MANDATORY to all drivers under the age of 18 and must be connected and used as instructed by the manufacturer.

5. Gloves are MANDATORY to all drivers under the age of 18 to help prevent injuries to the hands.

3.0 Race Event Procedures

1.The rules as stated herein will cover the rules of the racing events. Rules of the racing events may be altered from time to-time by Event Officials. Racing event procedures and/or racing event rules are final and non-appealable.

3.1 Race Event Procedures

1. All cars entered and present that are intended to compete in the racing event, must meet all guidelines prior to any on track activity. Pre-race inspections may take place at any time prior to the start of the event. Refusal to present vehicle or preventing officials from completing an inspection will result in disqualification from that event.

3.2 Drivers Meeting(s)

1. All drivers MUST attend the drivers meeting. Parent attendance strongly recommended.

2. The number of racecars starting each event will be announced at the drivers meeting.

3. Heat Races will be 10 laps, Main Events will be 15 laps. Subject to Race Director discretion.

4.Any race may be shortened due to excessive yellows or time constraints at discretion of race director.

5. Classes must have a minimum of 4 karts. Classes may be combined at discretion of race director.

6. Fighting on premises will result in permanent suspension.

7. Any changes in the basic event night program due to car count, track conditions and/or any other circumstances may be announced at the drivers meeting.

3.3 Refunds

1.Once the Car/Karts have hit the track, no refunds will be issued, you may receive a rain check for the next scheduled event.

2. Once heats have been completed; event will be considered complete. If heats are interrupted due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, the event may be postponed until a later date. Any Completed heats will be counted and official.

3.4 Inspection Procedures/Legality

1.Engines, fuel may be inspected at any time

2. Any Officials may at their discretion, inspect any car entered for competition at any time.

3. Officials may at their discretion, impound a part/component, engine and/or any other components and/or the complete car concluding racing events.

3.5 Restrictions

1.All work on the racecar, once any race has been started, must be completed in the designated work area unless informed otherwise.

2. All cars will receive only (2) ‘assisted starts’ per race (initial + 1). After the Initial green, If a car needs any additional ‘assisted starts’, except for safety reasons as deemed by track personnel, during any race, that car must start at the rear of the field in that particular race. An “assisted start” is considered completed only when the pushed vehicle has started and pulled away from the push vehicle or assisted otherwise to restart. Dead on the Track, go to the back!

3.6 Pill Draw

1.All drivers entered must draw a pill which will designate your starting or qualifying position.

2.All pills will be drawn at Registration prior to the drivers meeting. If a driver and/or team entered does not draw that team will start at the rear of their specified qualifying race(s).

3.7 Backup Cars

1.A backup car may be introduced before any scheduled event. After the initial green flag has flown, backup cars are not permitted for that scheduled event. If a backup car is introduced, the car must pass inspection prior to any competition and meet class rules.

3.8 Starts

1.The race will begin immediately once the racing surface is clear and the cars are properly aligned in their assigned starting positions.

2.Any driver, team, and/or car, who purposefully hold up the start of any race will be placed at the rear of the lineup and could be disqualified from the event at the discretion of the Race Officials.

3.Any car pushed after the field has been shown “1-to-go” from the flagman must start at the rear of the field.

4.All double-file initial starts will take place at a consistent speed, with cars side-by-side in rows of two throughout the field. Consistent speed will be at the discretion of Race Officials. The initial start will take place at a designated area that will be identified at the driver’s meeting. Any car out of line and/or passing before this point will be penalized two (2) positions from their original starting position. If an offending car is located on the last row of the starting grid, then that car is allowed to restart but will be penalized 2 positions from its finishing position. If the same car commits a second offense it shall be disqualified from that event.

5. In the event that the race is not properly started by the two (2) front row cars, the entire row will be moved to the second row and the second row will be moved forward to the front row. Failure to acknowledge and comply with the “move back” signal will result in disqualification from that racing event. If the second attempt fails, we will revert to the original line up, single file.

6.Alternate starters for any race will not be permitted to start any race after the original start has taken place.

7. There will only be two attempts at a double file start, after two attempts, we will go single file with any caution cars moved to the rear.

8. In the event that a car scratches or is involved in a yellow and is removed from its original line p position, the outside or inside row shall simply slide forward, we do not crisscross after the initial lineup is posted, even if the race has not begun and a competitor scratches, we simply slide the row forward.

3.8.1 Restarts

1.All restarts will be single file after the completion of the first lap or two attempted starts of competition during all heat races.

2. All lead lap cars moved to the front of the field. Lapped cars fall in behind the last car on the lead lap in their order of running.

3.Feature Events will be single file restarts no passing permitted prior to the start cone exiting turn

4. 4. All single-file restarts will take place at a consistent speed at discretion of Race Officials.

5.Improving your position before the starting cone will result in 2 docked positions.

6.If the leader is unable to properly restart the race after the one (1) attempt, the leader will be penalized two (2) positions.

7. When an infraction occurs on a restart, Race Officials shall allow the race to continue, not calling for another restart, and then penalize the offending car(s) under yellow flag conditions or at the conclusion of the race. The offending car(s) will be penalized 2 positions plus any positions gained.

8. Any car that is black flagged for consultation during a caution period will retain its position only if the Race Officials deem the car ‘clear’ and permit it to return directly to competition without adjustment.

9. Lagging car- If a car is lagging behind the car in front of it by more than 2 clear and obvious kart lengths, the competitor behind them has the right to go around them and get behind the bumper of the next car in line only after receiving the one to go order.

3.9 Racing

1. Any car that does not race on the designated racing surface and gains position will be black flagged and penalized at the discretion of the Race Officials.

2. The maximum number of event laps will be stated by the Race Director during the driver’s meeting but can change due to extenuating circumstances.

3. Cars and/or teams will not be permitted to be ‘pushed-off’ during any green flag conditions. An offending car will be automatically disqualified.

4. Any car that spins, is involved in an incident and/or has a problem, but does not bring out the yellow flag and/or create a caution period, will blend back into the field where the driver is able to do so.

5.. During all heat races, any car involved in two cautions will be disqualified from that race. Main Events, cars involved in 3 cautions will be disqualified form that race.

6. If the yellow flag is displayed or caution lights illuminated prior to the leader receiving the white flag, that race will be restarted before completion. If the yellow flag is displayed or caution lights illuminated following the white flag, the race will be scored at conclusion of the white flag lap. Next flag ends the race once leader takes white flag. Those involved in yellow will be scored accordingly.

7. If a race is red flagged due to weather conditions and cars are sent to a designated area, then all work, is permitted. However, no backup car may be introduced, any car more than 1 lap down will not be permitted to return.

8. Any car that is dead on track will be sent to the back.

9. Race director will have the ability to organize or remove any Hot Pit opportunities and shall disclose those opportunities at each event.

3.10 Flags / Officials Signs

1.Green Flag: When the starter displays the green flag, the track is open for racing. Signifying the start of any race and/or time trial run. Passing will not be permitted before the green flag is displayed at the designated point. a. Display of Green and White flags crossed, symbols the halfway mark of the race.

2. Yellow Flag: When the yellow flag is displayed and/or the yellow caution lights are illuminated, this signifies a caution period. When the yellow flag is displayed and/or caution lights illuminated no passing is permitted unless instructed to do so by Officials.

3. Red Flag: When the red flag is displayed all cars on the racing surface and in the pit areas must come to a complete stop in a controlled manner, while not stopping and/or driving through the area of the incident. At the discretion of the Race Officials a work area may be designated on the racing surface. All cars will be pushed to the designated work area on the racing surface before work begins.

4. CLOSED RED: The track will be closed. During any red flag situation all drivers, unless involved in the incident, must remain in their car unless otherwise instructed by Race Officials. Crew members permitted on the racetrack at Race Official’s discretion.

5. OPEN RED: The Race Director will determine when the track is open. a. One (1) crew member will be permitted to go to their car. Only adjustments by hand tools may be completed under red on the track. No fuel, tire or wheel changes can be made to the race car. An air horn designating the start of a 2 minute work period will be sounded. At one minute remaining, the air horn will be sounded twice. At the end of the 2 minute period the horn will be sounded, officially ending the work period. Crews must be clear of their car when the 2 minute period has expired or be penalized 2 running positions. Last row cars violating this procedure will be penalized 2 positions from their finishing position. Any car still being worked on once the field has started assembling will be disqualified and not allowed to re-enter the race.

6. FUEL RED a. Only one (1) crew member will be permitted to go to their car when a Red Flag occurs for refueling. As soon as all the crews have reached their cars an air horn designating a 2 minute work period will be sounded. The 2 minute work period procedure is the same as outlined above.

-Any repairs and adjustments, except changing a tire or wheel, can be made to the race car as long as they are completed before the 2 minute period has expired.

-Fuel Is NOT allowed to be filled on the racing surface unless otherwise notified by Race officials. All drivers must exit their car before fueling.

7. Black Flag: If the black flag is displayed, then the driver that the flag is being displayed toward must bring their car to designated pit work area immediately for consultation. The car will not be scored from the point that the black flag has been displayed. If after the car is inspected and it can return to competition, the car may only return to the track during a caution and/or red flag period.

8. White Flag: When the white flag is displayed this signifies that the leader of the race and/or the car that is qualifying has started the last lap of that event.

9. Checkered Flag: The checkered flag signifies the completion of the event. Once the leader has passed the checked flag the race is deemed over. Only the cars that cross the checkered before the yellow will be scored as such, all others will revert back to the previous lap with cars involved being moved to the rear.

10. Officials Signals: All drivers must obey signals, communications, blackboard(s) and/or any other Official’s communications that assist in the direction and facilitation of creating proper lineups and/or the process of completing the event.

11. “Raceceiver” One-Way radio communication will be in use unless otherwise noted at the event driver’s meeting. Any driver not heeding Race Official directions subject to penalty.

4.1 Scoring Procedures

1. All races are scored at the designated start/finish line.

2. The original starting lineup will be posted by Race Officials after the completion of all qualifying events.

3. The restart lineups will be derived from the official scorer’s lap and line scored sheets.

4. All cars that were scored under green flag conditions will hold that scored position with all other cars lining up according to their last completed green flag scored lap.

5. A lap will not be scored on the original start and/or any restart unless all cars complete the lap by passing through the start/finish line except for the cars involved in the incident.

6. If one or more cars complete the same number of laps, they will be scored and paid in the sequence in which they completed those laps.

7. Karts must cross start / finish line to be scored.

8. We will not race to the yellow and or checkered, however, if the leader takes the checkered, the race will be deemed official, with all cars that have crossed being scored in order of the scorers sheets and subsequent yellow/red will freeze the remainder of the field with the lineup reverting to the previous lap for the remainder of the field, and the cars involved move to the back.

4.2 Rookie of the Year

1.Must start at rear at least three races. With permission of promoter may start in qualified position. 3. R.O.Y. will be decided by more than one factor. Points, previous racing experience, and sportsmanship will be factored into promoter’s decision on R.O.Y.

5.0 Playoff and Pit Procedures

1. All paid purses, appearance money and/or other awards shall be paid to the car owner and/or designated owner’s representative.

6.0 Points Breakdown

1. (If Qualifying) One Point will be awarded per car to the quickest qualifier reducing by one point per position to the last car receiving one point.

2. Heat Race Points breakdown is as follows. 10 points awarded to the winner of each heat race, descending 1 points per position.

3. Main Event will award 1st – 100, 2nd – 95, 3rd – 92, 4th – 89, 5th – 86, 6th – 83, 7th – 80, 8th – 77, 9th – 74, 10th – 71, 11th – 68, 12th – 65, 13th – 62, 14th – 59, 15th – 56, 16th – 53.

4. Any event point ties will be broken by highest finish in feature. Season point ties will be broken by number of feature wins. If still tied, next tie breaker will be by highest number of passing points.

5. Substitute drivers are permitted for only two scheduled point races (4 heat races, 2 mains). Any exceptions must be approved by promoter in advance. The Substitute driver must run the karts number that they are substituting for clearly visible in order to receive points.

6. With promoter approval prior to season start, any two drivers may share a kart for a season and earn a single point position (either driver can qualify and earn position for kart)

8.0 Outlaw Kart General Rules

1. General Kart YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFETY OF YOU AND YOUR KART!

2. Frames must be of kart configuration. Not to exceed 90” in overall length. NO EXCEPTIONS.

3.Cages are mandatory for protection of the Driver

4. Uppermost part of kart and wing not to exceed 74”

5. Wing, hood and tail are mandatory in all outlaw kart classes. Front and Rear bumpers are mandatory.

6. No bars, other than regular nerf bar, may extend out past outer edge of tire on either side of kart.

7.Noise: Must meet 98 dba Karts in violation may not race until standards are met.

8. Substitute drivers that do not qualify, will start at rear of field and are not eligible for passing points. (i.e. - a driver subs for another driver after qualifying heat)

9. Points follow the car number. 8. ALL KARTS MUST DISPLAY READILY IDENTIFIABLE NUMBERS ON RIGHT AND LEFT SIDE OF KART AND/OR WING. IF SCORING CAN’T READ IT – YOU MAY BE SUBJECT UNDUE PENALTY OR MISSED LAPS, ETC...

10. Numbers not legible will not be scored.

11.No Duplicate Numbers will be allowed.

12.Numbers must be displayed on contrasting background.

13.This is open wheel racing. No front-end cowcatchers. If in doubt, see officials.

14.Any other organized class must have a minimum of 3 karts and be approved by promoter.

8.1 Safety

1. Brakes must be in good working condition at all times.

2.Minimum standard for roll cage (tubing thickness): All classes ¾” .083 chrome molly or 1” .06 chrome molly or 1”083 steel. No exotic steel.

3.No sharp or protruding objects on any part of the Kart.

4. Roll cage must be securely fastened with a grade 8 or better bolt, in at least four spots. Driver’s body must be completely inside roll cage. Roll cage height minimum of 2” clearance above driver’s head.

5. Suicide doors: No suicide bars. Side bar must open from the rear. Left side protection is recommended. .

6.No axle protrusion beyond wheel rim.

7. Pitmen are not allowed on racetrack or infield while race is in progress. Violators will result in their kart being docked positions, one lap or disqualification.

8. Any Official is permitted to remove karts from track due to unsafe conditions to driver or other karts.

9. Track Officials’ decision is final. 10. Karts will be inspected with the following safety list. Failure to fix items may result in suspension of kart. (Helmet – fit/condition Seat belt & harness mounted or cotter keys Steering wheel – securely mounted Protruding objects Axle Protrusion Fuel Line Location Spindles – Cotter Keyed Cage-Mounts height Frame, Nerf Bars, Bumpers, and Roll Cage Neck brace Brakes Steering link, lock nuts Seat – Condition/Mounting Wing-Mounts Suspended Seat Karts , Kill Switch, Wheel Condition, Rear Axle Keepers , Floor Pan Condition , Hood & Tail Mounts , Tail Piece Protection , Fire Extinguisher , Number/Letter – Size/Location Muffler, Chain Guard)

10. Any participant attempting to enter the racing surface with unsecured ballast (lead, weight, etc…) will be removed from competition for the remainder of the event until the vehicle can be presented to event officials with any ballast secured with minimum 5/16” bolts, double-nutted or safety wired, utilizing a fender washer or other suitable reinforcement. Any Official has the authority to disallow or disqualify a kart for safety violations.

9.0 Class Rules:

ROOKIE BOX, BEGINNER BOX and BOX STOCK RULES 1.All sealed motors subject to tech at all times. Broken seals must be reported to tech All current and legacy versions of Briggs & Stratton LO206 factory Security Sealed engines are allowed.

9.1 Rookie Box Stock:

1. Minimum age 5-8 years old as of the date of the race.

2. Minimum Weight 245 lbs.

3. Non-Points, Non-Competitive (similar to Kid Kart).

4. Standing starts. 1 parent/team representative may enter the infield per kart.

5. Approved engines: a. HF 212 Predator with GREEN Restrictor Plate (ARC DJ-1425 with .425 opening, anything larger will result in DQ). Stock muffler, RLV EXF 4100 series or screw-on Ag type mufflers required. Stock carburetors subject to post-race go/no-go gauge .615 max bore. Predator class motors apply beyond this restrictor plate. Exception: Multi disc clutches allowed.

9.1 Beginner Box Stock

1. Minimum age 5-8 years old as of the date of the race.

2. Minimum Weight 245 lbs.

3. 1 parent/team representative may enter the infield per kart.

4. Approved engines: a. HF 212 Predator with GREEN Restrictor Plate (ARC DJ-1425 with .425 opening, anything larger will result in DQ). Stock muffler, RLV EXF 4100 series or screw-on Ag type mufflers required. Stock carburetors subject to post-race go/no-go gauge .615 max bore. Predator class motors apply beyond this restrictor plate including claim rule. Exception: Multi disc clutches allowed. b. Briggs LO206 (must be sealed and have GREEN slide). All factory sealed Briggs & Stratton LO206 engines are allowed. 555726 Locking Cap required, cap shall be tightened and subject to post-race inspection. c. HF Ghost Engine 57531 with RED carburetor slide required. Unaltered HF 58057 unaltered accessory kit allowed. Unaltered RLV EXF501# series pipe with B91XL muffler allowed. Either/or stock unaltered intake, HF 58057 or RLV EZZ0834 intake manifold – Not both 555726 Locking Cap required, cap shall be tightened and subject to post-race inspection.

5. Air Filters are non-tech item.

6. If competition level becomes a concern, race director will have the right to move up a competitor.

7. Once moved up to beginner, can not move back to rookie. Unless race director approval. b. Briggs LO206 (must be sealed and have GREEN slide). All factory sealed Briggs & Stratton LO206 engines are allowed. 555726 Locking Cap required, cap shall be tightened and subject to post-race inspection. c. HF Ghost Engine 57531 with RED carburetor slide required. Unaltered HF 58057 accessory kit allowed. Unaltered RLV EXF501# series pipe with B91XL muffler unaltered allowed. 555726 Locking Cap required, cap shall be tightened and subject to post-race inspection. Either/or stock unaltered intake, HF 58057 or RLV EZZ0834 intake manifold – Not both.

8. Seals must be present and not tampered with.

9. Air Filters are non-tech item.

10. NO POINTS ARE AWARDED IN THIS CLASS. If competition level becomes a concern, officials have the right to move up a competitor. This is a learning class and is designated as such.

11. Right rear tire must Durometer 30+ at post race scale.

12. If competition level becomes a concern, race director will have the right to move up a competitor.

13. Once moved up to box stock, can not move back to beginner. Unless race director approval.

9.2 Box Stock

1.Age limit: 8-13 years of age as of the date of the race.

2.Minimum Weight is 275 lbs

3.No parent/team in the infield.

4.Drivers in this class are required to wear a min SFI 1 race suit, Full Face Helmet SA 2020 or newer and Head & Neck Restraints

5.Approved engines: a.Briggs LO206: Sealed with 555590 Black slide. Unaltered RLV EBK0500 series pipe with B91XL muffler allowed. b.HF Ghost Engine 57531 stock Black slide required (555590 equal). Unaltered HF 58057 unaltered accessory kit allowed. Unaltered RLV EXF501# series pipe with B91XL muffler unaltered allowed. Either/or stock unaltered intake, HF 58057 or RLV EZZ0834 intake manifold – Not Both

6.Seals must be present and not tampered with.

7.Air Filters are non-tech item. 8.Right rear tire must Durometer 30+ at post race scale.

9.3 Intermediate Outlaw (250 Class)

1.Age Limit: 10 - 18 years As of the date of the race

2.2-stroke 125cc must have oem cases. Weight Rule is 360 lbs for 125cc

3.2-Stroke 250cc- No overbore(big bore kits). No strokers. Weight rule is 380 lbs.

4.4-stroke 250cc – No overbore. No strokers. Weight rule is 380 lbs.

5.Any Fuel Injected engine +10 lbs

6.Right rear tire must Durometer 50+ at post race scale.

10.0 Fuels

1.Fuel additives, including but not limited to nitro, nitro methane, methanol and/or nitrous oxide injection will not be permitted. Fuel must be regularly available to the average consumer. Fuel samples may be taken from time-to-time for inspection and analysis.

2. Fuel line location cannot be closer than 2” to any of the exhaust system at any time and shall not be above the exhaust. If closer than 2”, fuel line must be insulated. Fuel line must have ample slack for cage movement. Must be petroleum grade fuel line.

3. Outboard mounted tanks must have metal protection, Floor tanks w/fuel pumps allowed.

10.1 Body

1. Bodies are made to protect the driver it is recommended to be a safety device, must have body to race.

2. Tail piece protection: If the top of the tail section protrudes above the seat, tail must be padded. Suggested padding: Plumbing foam. Tail section must be securely attached to the frame.

10.2 Wings

1. Wing: Minimum size 26” wide by 28” long, with minimum 10” sideboards.

2.Wing sides must stay within 3” from outermost edge of kart. No sharp edges. Overall length 48” Max.

10.3 Tires

1.All kart tire brands will be allowed Hoosier, Burris, Vega, Maxxis, etc…

2.Beginner and Box Stock Classes must be a 30 series tire. Must be stamped and meet 30+ durometer at time of tech.

10.4 Other

1. Racing components in aluminum and magnesium should be checked for stress and replaced on a regular basis, based on the manufacturer’s recommendations of the life usage of the part.

2. Computer controlled actively adjustable parts, such as chassis adjusting systems, on the fly motor tuning etc., will not be permitted on the track.

3. The use of electronic logic processors (this includes any traction control devices) to control any function of the racecar will not be permitted at any time during any event.

4. Two-way radios, crewmember to driver and/or any other means of electronic communication, other than the one-way radio from officials to drivers will not be permitted.

5. All Transponders shall be located on the Steering post. All other locations are prohibited.

6. Competitors will be required to receive and use “one-way radio communication” from race officials. The communication from the Race Director will aid in the direction of the race, including, but not limited to, safety and resetting the race lineup prior to any restart.
